The Roundhouse, tower IV | 12-storeys | Residential, commercial
Return to the Construction Projects list.
Bayview Properties, developers of Bayview Victoria in Victoria West, has proposed a redevelopment of Victoria West’s historic roundhouse property that currently houses the E&N train car facilities and industrial facilities. The entire development will be built over several phases and will be joined with the Bayview Victoria project immediately to the east of the roundhouse property. The historic rail buildings currently located on the property will be restored.
In July 2008, the project received municipal approval.

Mar 14, 2012 at 10:14 amThanks! I've been enjoying the forum for a while and this is my first post. I noticed the work around the turntable area. They have done some removal of shrubs and brought in gravel and rock to level it out. Just wondering if they are going to start on this part of the project. I think there are lot of people in the area excited to see it started! I can go over and take a few pictures if that would help.

Mar 14, 2012 at 10:16 amAh, ok, I think someone mentioned on the Promontory thread that blasted rock from the excavation was trucked down to that part of the development.
To be honest I haven't any specifics in regards to work on the Roundhouse portion of the Bayview property. Perhaps someone else might have an idea of whats going on.
