Return to the Construction Projects list.
Three Point Properties’ latest heritage renovation will transform the two-storey Sawyer Sewing building, at 840 Fort Street, into a six-storey, 36-unit, mixed-use residential and commercial project.
The original renovation and redevelopment of the Sawyer Building, proposed in 2007, was designed by Number Ten Architecture.

Feb 05, 2011 at 10:08 pmLooking from our condo higher up rather than ground level, it looks even worse. The tree is covering the worst part. Even the homeless were there one night camping and I made the mistake of calling the police.

Now that I think of it, will the proposed building have windows on the it's north side? If not then we're in for a nasty six storey blank wall which will be permanently visible from this location. :(

May 05, 2011 at 11:45 pmSignage now on site proclaim this project will be complete in Summer 2012. From the marketing website - "The Sawyer is a small collection of high-end condos priced to sell immediately... The pricing is incredibly affordable, so there are no plans for a show suite"
