The Wing | 6-storeys | Residential
Return to the Construction Projects list.
Originally planned as a six-storey condominium residence, The Wing’s construction stalled after a lack of sales dried up project financing. The Wing is now slated to become an affordable rental residence.
The building has sat empty for several years awaiting a buyer. In 2009 the City of Victoria and the Province provided $9.5-million towards the purchase and completion of the building and conversion into affordable rental housing.

May 06, 2010 at 2:29 pmYou pay extra for all that interior wall space to hang pictures. With only one 2' x 2' window in each unit, you get LOTS of wall-space. And you need to keep a TV on all the time for extra light, that explains complimentary cable.

May 20, 2010 at 12:25 pmHow much does the priciest unit in Astoria rent for?
(I realize Astoria is a condo building but I'm just interested in what people might be renting their units for.)
