Where are all of the courts in town, and are there any that have night lighting and/or are indoors and accessible by the public in the evenings?

- Two net court in Vic West where Skinner Rd. turns in Craigflower, just beside the Chicken on the Run Place.

- Five net court at Stadacona, just behind Stadacona Centre at Oak Bay Junction

- Two net court in Esquimalt on the Esquimalt High School property, but its pretty run down and may not even have netting

There is one at Bryden Park, but you need membership to play. Another one is at Mcmin(sp) Park which is public.

We were in Palm Springs this winter and our complex has 4 courts which were never busy...I wondered if this is a sport that has peaked in popularity?

There's the Oak Bay Tennis Club, too. Not public, I know.

^^No, that's on Majestic Drive proper. There is another one on San Juan, just northwest of Gordon Head Road, between Francisco Terrace and San Pedro Avenue.

Blenkinsop-Tennis-Courts-Citified.jpg

An eight-court tennis facility has been proposed for vacant land along the 4200-block of Blenkinsop Road in Saanich. Planned for either side of the access road to the Mount Douglas Golf Course (at-centre), the courts will help quench the region's growing demand for tennis courts.

Yup. Things can get pretty backed up in town on a nice day, and some municipal courts are no longer in good shape and go unused, which puts more pressure on popular courts.
