Ugly with ugly plain windows and a lot of concrete. No charm. Every time I see a sign heralding "Another Abstract Development" I cringe. They are all ugly. Didn't they build that horrible townhouse development in the 1000 block of Richardson? A lovely little bungalo with a tidy garden was sacrificed for that. Does anyone even live in those places? I walk past it every day and all but a couple of units seem entirely shuttered. It's a blight and several large shade-giving trees were also cut down.

I just noticed on the photos that huge open space at the back supported by only a few pillars. I know nothing of construction but recently watched a program on PBS about the types of buildings in Chile which collapsed during one of their earthquakes. Many featured just such construction.

This is turning out nicer than I had imagined it would.
Just kidding NP, I'm usually a fan of Abstract's designs, but I think it's ugly.

That white stucco was a terrible choice for siding though. I think it would look much better with something else. That picture that also shows a much older building with similar white stucco is a good example of how bland and ugly this really is. The railings and water features etc are just trying to put lipstick on a pig. Large expanses of stucco is terrible design.
