Oh, you mean between the Hudson? Yeah, for sure. But I'm referring to the speed with which the tower went up compared to the speed of traditional highrise construction in Victoria.

Townline is advertising rentals on Craiglist now:  Leasing starts May 1 and move-in dates will begin in July.  So we're probably 4 months from completion.

Two bedroom rentals will start at $1775/month.

Nearly all windows have been installed on the tower now and most brickwork appears to be complete as well. Coloured panels near the Windows are also being installed.

Something about this building reminds me of the Era on Yates...

The crane went up one year ago.

Hudson District's 178-unit Hudson Walk One tower slated for summer occupancy

http://victoria.citi...mmer-occupancy/

Downtown Victoria's Hudson District is nearing the completion of its latest purpose-built rental tower, Hudson Walk One, as developer Townline lays out plans for additional buildings.

The 16-storey, 178-unit concrete highrise situated between the 700-blocks of Caledonia Avenue and Herald Street is on track for an August 1st occupancy date while Hudson Walk Two, a 15-storey, 106-unit tower east of its 16-storey counterpart, is now underway with occupancy planned for the spring of 2017.

Townline's director of Victoria developments, Justin Filuk, says that with interest in the Hudson District growing stronger by the day, the company hopes to keep its momentum going and fast-track development opportunities. [Full article]

"We expect to move forward relatively soon on additional residential towers housing a mix of condos and rental apartments, which we're calling Hudson Place One and Two, and market conditions permitting, we hope to have the entire district built-out within five years," Filuk said.

I can hardly wait to hear an announcement about Hudson Place!!!

The Hudson Walk 2 pit is almost completely excavated.  They're at the awkward part where it's just the ramp left.

Any thoughts on the driveway and how it interacts with the Jack Davis building compared to the original Radius design?
