Union Pacific has table tops marked out with grids so I think it's them. But I haven't been there since they started morphing into a wine bar so I'm not sure what the current situation is.Also I think that Union Pacific or Solstice Cafe have them. I get them both so confused in my mind.

A wine bar? I had no idea.
The furniture started to change (some chairs became stools, etc.) and they had a little stage area set-up. I have no idea how the idea has evolved as I haven't found myself in that end of town during the day for a few months.

I can't recall seeing a board game friendly coffee shop since the days of Bohematea. They quickly discovered that there is not much money in serving coffee/tea to people hanging out for a couple of hours playing chess and they re branded themselves as Suze.

Calling all old-school game lovers.
The Victoria Event Centre is opening its doors on Monday nights from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. for an all-out games night featuring 40 card and board games and eight video game consoles. The ever-popular Mario Kart will be on a projector screen and other classic games such as Dance Dance Revolution, Super Mario World, Donkey Kong, Sonic the Hedgehog, Space Invaders and Street Fighter will be there too, plus hundreds more.
“The city is a major tech hub, and it’s reflected by how much Victoria likes to game,” said Friends Victoria organizer Emily Lavender. “We’ve got a board-game cafe and arcade, and now we want to add old school video games to the mix.”
