I don't think Victoria is a nuclear free zone. That is why we used to get the aircraft carriers to stop here. Or do we mean we just don't let nuclear vessels enter the harbour?

Well to be fair Vancouver is "nuclear free zone" as well. There are little signs on the bridges leading into Vancouver declaring it thus. No dirty bombs there, I always felt so safe.

Now if we declared a fentanyl free zone and enforced it, I could get behind that.

Would they let the Nimitz anchor at Ogden? RR is not Victoria. Either way, I dont think the intention of the ban is for nuclear power, but for nuclear weapons. The Nimitz obviously is nuclear powered, but I doubt it carries nuclear weapons. More likely, one of those two missile cruisers that just left may have had a couple of those.

It's probably too big.

Council should approve my nuclear power plant then.

Well shielded in lead. Can't let the city think their nuclear free zone rules are being flaunted!

Are they aware of the radioactive smoke detectors(possibly in city hall possibly in lisa helps office) and rob randall's watch guess the jubilee is outside of the COV.

Edit: well at least the cancer agency is, not sure about imaging:

Correct; USN surface forces were de-nuclearized by the early 1990's; as of the summer of 1992, only strategic submarines armed with long-range ballistic missiles have carried U.S. nuclear weapons at sea, a practice that is planned to continue through at least through the 2080's.

This was the result of the Clinton administration’s 1994 Nuclear Posture Review and reaffirmed later under Obama. Of course naturally that does not mean in the event of an international crisis the carriers and other USN surface fleet units couldn't be rapidly armed with nukes, because obviously they can.

Pic of one of the last US carrier "W" (nuclear division) deployments during the 1991 Gulf War; a B61 (gravity bomb at left) and a B57 (sub-surface nuke, at right); the last US carrier to officially carry on-board nuclear weapons was the USS Kennedy in 1993...

Just out of curiosity did anyone else somewhat involved in releasing Chinese military secrets(I did not sanction it), about a day later have two of their least protected computers suddenly erase their operating system(and possibly more)?

Anyone know the where you drop off computers at CFB Esquimalt?

I turned it to airplane mode while on board but was walking around in the unsecured area taking photos of the ships a day or two earlier with it fully operational, had not yet received the same warning DND personnel received*.

Mike had neglected to send out the memo.
