Rare Investment & Future Owner Occupier Opportunity! 5.37% cap rate increasing to 5.73% over the remaining Lease term. The Leiser Building is an iconic three-storey brick commercial building on the corner of Yates Street and Waddington Alley in the heart of Victoria’s downtown area. Located in the Old Town district, this rare 4,871 SF street level walk-in strata retail space is easily accessible for pedestrians and has high exposure fronting onto the bustling Yates Street. Renovated in 2008 by Le Fevre & Co. the space has seen significant upgrades in addition to a beautiful interior finish allowing for an open and bright space. The opportunity also includes a bonus 2,595 SF of lower level basement space, a rare find in the downtown Victoria core.

Tupperware warned it might go bust — but its stock has gained 700% since then. Here's why

https://www.cbc.ca/n...-meme-1.6924033

"Meme stocks experience price spikes, huge increase in trading volume, and they trade at a value that appears to be excessive based on traditional valuation metrics," Foerster said in an interview. "If I go through that list, Tupperware checks all the boxes."

Tupperware has about 40 million shares, and more than five times in the past two weeks, over 100 million shares have changed hands — meaning the entire company was bought and sold, multiple times over, by investors looking to make a quick buck.

I've been watching some old episodes of Computer Chronicles, a PBS show.

https://www.youtube....terChroniclesYT

Goes back to 1983 or so, ends around 2002.  Pretty crazy how we have advanced.  They have 286 computers, the advent of laptops and Windows, floppy discs then optical disks and the internet.  Funny to watch, now.

"Joe, now let's go to XYZ Company and see how they are using the internet!"

One of those hosts, at 52 years old, died as a result of injuries sustained at a California biker bar.

The circumstances are suspicious.

^ Crap, that will leave him with like only $10B. Crime certainly doesn't pay these days!

Edit: Apparently CZ himself is only paying a $50M fine, he gets to keep the other $23.5B
