It’s quite the place, for sure. The only thing that throws me for a loop is how short the trees are.

If I could've convinced the wife I certainly would have strongly considered retiring to that area, it helps that we have 30+ extended family in Falmouth/Windsor. Alas the exodus of Canadians moving from the larger urban areas to small town Canada has definitely impacted the area including driving real estate prices up. Still way more affordable than the south island, but the property "deals" in 2021 are nowhere near what they were before 2019....
