What does this headline on the CFAX website mean?

Irrefutable proof that CFAX is automated at least 18 hours each day and someone forgot to set the spell-check/context switch before leaving the building at lunch time.

I don't know what time you listen, but I do like Adam's show in the morning.  But up until then it's a bit thin.  And what's with the pillow commercials?

I can't think of a less effective way to sell pillows than with radio spots. They will not renew after their initial ad buy.

The pillow campaign seems to be wide reaching in the world of radio.  Last month a member of the morning show on KZOK was pushing the exact same deal.  Not sure how many pillows they sell but it sure increases the likelihood of me switching stations when the pitch starts....which only harms the local sponsor who bought time airing immediately after the pillow.

Spel cheque at CFAX on the fritz.

 

Victoria Fire Department Deputy Chief Dan Atkinson says fire crews from James Bay were able to get aboard tghe depaqrtment's fire suppression boat and out to the flaming vessel within 12 minutes -- which is extremely fast.

Atkinson says it was a challenging situation in a high traffgic area, but all agencies worked very well together to keep other harbour users away from the area:
