Between Fiamo and Reef, lower Yates.
It was Podium Sports Grill (all-ages restaurant, run by same guys as Gorge Point Pub) for 5 years until their lease ran out.

We are now picking up some internet chatter indicating it's the building owner's son that will operate it as a restaurant.

If that is the case, that seems strange they would use a broker - pay commission, time etc.

I actually talked to some guy about four weeks ago who was locking up as he left the old Podium. I asked him what is was going to be, and I got the strangest response ever.. Basically it was going to be a breakfast/lunch type place. So, I said not open for dinner? He said oh yah, dinner too, and they also want to make it a late night place for people in the industry to hang out after they're done. So.. maybe they just never close then I left none the wiser - maybe that was his plan.

Having been to Lucky Village in the past, it isn't bad food. Also, if downtown is dying ilke some say, why would you be trying to pull people out of it? Shouldn't they have already left?
