Know it all.

Yes it's a new location but I think it's actually the spot just to the west of the old Eugenes. Same complex but right "next door".
And I get bit by not actually reading the report, but just assuming. Oops. My bad.

I was at 1990 Fort yesterday - renovations underway for a Vietnamese restaurant to go in to where Eugene's was.

Actually the Stones Throw guys were basically thrown out by the hotel. The lease increase was ridiculous to say the least.
Paparazzi is facing the same thing in their lease negotiations.
New owner of hotel I hear.
I can see the restaurant turning over, seems you can always find another person to try, when it's turn-key.
Not so sure they will find a willing partner for the nightclub too easily. I think that place only has a few hours of profitability every week.

...Attila has already posted on his Facebook page that this may be their last Pride at Paparazzi.
I would suggest that any number of online and smartphone apps have had as much to do with Paparazzi's demise as did any rent increase at the hotel. It's simply not the 1980s anymore. Most people don't need an underground space and overpriced drinks to hook up these days.
