Shawn Soole (Clive's classic lounge, Little Jumbo) is behind the rebuild, I expect good things on this one.

Axe & Barrell. Went once, somewhat recently, high prices, extraordinarily slow service, and sold out of most rotating taps. Pass.

It's a pretty decent experience eating there I've been to the one at Niagara Falls there is also one on a cruise ship

I can confirm Soole is operating the bar at the newly re-opened Cafe Mexico.

Was just in the Hudson Market to get lunch. The Cowichan Bay Seafood shop has been closed, with a sign pointing to their new location in Oak Bay.

According to Victoria Buzz, the White Spot at Mount Newton X Road and the Pat Bay Hwy has closed and will reopen later this week as Cross Road Grill House.
