What does the registration process involve? Is it more than selecting a password? (are there a bunch of pesky questions, like what's your favourite colour? birthdate? full name? SIN? etc.)Here's a web app I found that ignores the paywalls and eliminates ad clutter
www.onlinenewsreader.net
1. I'm seeing no Privacy or Terms of Use link. Nor any description of how they operate.
2. They ask for your email address first, and only then will let you proceed to the rest of their 'registration process' after confirming your email address.
"Your email address will never be disclosed to third parties.
You will receive an email containing a secure link you can follow to complete the registration process by selecting a password."
After you go through just or all that, do they indeed have a Privacy Policy and Terms of Use? (better late then never, to be able to view that).

When I registered all it asked for was an email address to use as a userid. Then I picked a password. I didn't provide any other information. I didn't see a privacy policy, but then I didn't provide any information apart from an email address so I don't see an issue there. What does the registration process involve? Thanks, and good to know that they do not appear to have a Privacy Policy (thankful I didn't try entering my email address).I didn't see a privacy policy, but then I didn't provide any information apart from an email address so I don't see an issue there.

ps. There's lots of incidental information you unknowingly 'provide' when visiting a site, likely enough leading to their capacity to know precisely who you are if you have been a regular web browser on the internet (via sharing what they know about you and your activities with other sites that know anything about you and have no qualms about sharing to "pool" information). The stated Privacy Policy outlines the extent of such gathering and sharing amongst 'partners' and advertisers.

It’s the daily cruise directory, they cover everything fit to print, they don’t lecture me or suggest what I should think. just what is it is
