I doubt the excavation is going to be affected by a difference of 72 vs. 84 meters in finished building height. The density, number of units and presumably the number of underground parking stalls will not be affected by a change of height.

It's pretty good. Not a world-beater, but a spiffy tower all the same. I like how it counters the heaping doses of beige, brown, and grey that have characterized several modern buildings around there. It's funny, Centra Gas and First Island Financial aren't drab. Why did it take so long to come back around?

I am in Madrid right now, having spent the last four days exploring the city from the skyscrapers of the financial district to the historic city center ... Wow, what a dinamic city. When I spend all day looking at this varied architecture ... then think of the contravercy over a few floors of this Hudson Place ... I think back to a statement from Miss Madoff that a buildings height would block her view while she drives around and think that her opinion could/would prevent the extra floors on this building ... Wow

Just heading into Morocco, I thought I would check in and see what is happining with the Hudson Place extra floors ... Any info ... Or will it have to be debated for years ... I was just in a castle in souther Spain, I was told it was built in only nine years ... made me think of the blue bridge ... yuk yuk yuk and ha ha ha! I'll be back in Victoria in mid November, gee I wonder where the two before mentioned projects will be ???

Excavation continues. As far as I know, there has been no final word from the CoV regarding the request for additional height.

As I travel through Spain into Portugal I compair these cities to Victoria ... That's a joke, we have no history. I was in the cathedral of Seville today ... Overwhelming. But it did cause be to think about what architecture we leave behind for future generations. It caused me to ponder our relationship to architecture in Victoria ...

Development tracker has moved from "With Applicant" to "Report Preparation." But no new renderings or meeting dates announced, as far as I know
