As I said before, a million plus duplex on a busy street, with huge south facing windows is bound to be unpopular.

It's been sputtering for the past several months. It should have been done ages ago. They're obviously having issues of some kind.

Ah, only two units. Yikes. Yes, they could easily run out of money if it's only 50% sold.

It seems the 5 year long saga of the Fairfield Rise / Ross Bay Landing has come to a close: the last unit has sold.
I'm really not sure how I feel about this. It's not on the same scale as the Berlin Wall coming down, but it's equally hard to believe it's happened.

Yikes, that's a far cry from the prices the units originally listed for.

What were the asking prices when it was first built?

$450k and way on up.
Not a single unit even sold for $450k with the most expensive being $422k.

I seem to recall pre-sales for this started shortly after The Falls was completed and people here calculated they were selling for more per sq. ft. That's just insane, and for such a cheap and hideous looking building. I'd love to watch a short documentary on this with candid interviews from the developers and architects to fully understand how it all came to be.

Original prices were $489k to $599k.
I don't know why it took so long to set realistic asking prices.

$489,900 for 483 sq/ft was a little on the optimistic side.

That small development across the street seems to be suffering as a result of similarily poor decisions. It's still not even finished! Been years now.
I still am amazed someone tried to build a luxury home to sell on that lot. No surprise to me at all that is still not finished and unsold.

It's a duplex I believe.
