I just took the refresher, and got 25/25

^23/25. I said flashing green was opposing traffic was red, but I only docked myself a half point because I was kinda sorta right. And I said children crosswalk was children on road, that was dumb, I should've got that.
I admit I didn't know the directionality of the diagonal yellow lines. I thought it just meant "don't hit this thing" and didn't see the sign was upside down.
Anyway, back to my busted windshield, we paid $200 to have it replaced, ICBC paid the rest. It was embarrassing as Speedy had to call ICBC and confirm the car was in good condition because the windshield costs more than the car. They said it's extremely rare for a trucking company to compensate for damage.

This question lists number A as the correct answer but number B is also the correct answer because on this steady arrow pointing left that's the only way you can legally turn. You cant turn right nor can you go straight

That's nothing. I sold a car to a guy once, for $25. The agent at the insurance place said "you can't do that, you have to put the real price paid". We walked her outside to show her. Went back in, no problem, she said that's a $25 car.

I think at this intersection you can go other ways, but not until that light changes.

It wont change and it doesnt say anything about changes or anything it just asks a simple question and I am certain both answers are correct

What about when it's red, can't you go right after a full stop? I'm just being silly. Ya, I guess it's odd.

Got to love all the dash cam footage that gets put into this thread, speaking of which - the law firm I work for is having a facebook contest to win a dash camera. Would love to see some VV members enter!

this is an issue all over. A shortage of experienced commercial drivers so companies are hiring directly form driving schools. The fool that did that should lose their license . there are signs from ever approach to that bridge and all low clearance over passes in the Province noting the clearance. the driver has no excuses other than being an idiot. When driving a tractor unit and approaching something like this it is very obvious or should be that there could be an issue.
Ironic that Van Kam has been advertising for a driver this week now they need 2.

Stopped too close to the van in front, couldn't see traffic lights.

I swear most drivers now think as long as they are in the left turn lane, not even in the intersection, that it is ok for them to proceed on the yellow and red. I see it multiple times a day and I don't even drive very much.
But the crazier thing I have seen is bicycles running reds. I'm sitting at the red which then turns green. And there goes the bike flying by in front of all the cars that now have the right of way.

If he/she was in the new bike lanes then the rules don't apply!

the new bike lanes will have their own dedicated traffic signal lights.

They need automated barriers, not lights to ignore.
