For every dollar you spend Air Miles gives you $0.05 in value. If you're getting 20 air miles for $50 in gas you're using special offers or coupons.

^That's fine. I use lots of specials, coupons, double and even triple dips. .05 in value is a little low also. It can be .15 on movie passes, and was was .14 when I used them for a trip to Cancun.

Once again with bonuses and multiple collection avenues I can collect 8-10,000 a year.

On my last trip to Thrifty's I spent $63.63 on groceries and earned 87 points, or around 6 Air miles. If I continued to save points I would need 1375 points to earn $10 in saving on more groceries. Those 1375 points are now worth 98 Air Miles, so I guess we're comparing Buck Brand Oranges to BC MacIntosh Apples.
