...this thing took 9 years i'm just realizing.

To be fair, it did gain 3 additional floors in that time period.

Some of the delay was also due to the multiple phases of contaminated soil remediation.  In fact the Certificate of Compliance was not issued by MOE until May of this year.

Curious that the smell from Ox King is so significant. I live(d) directly above Ox King’s old location and never once smelled it. Even at ground level it wasn’t very noticeable. Must have had better filtration in the old location. 2% Jazz, on the other hand... I remember years ago one of my coworkers mentioning 2% and none of us knew where it was. She then said “the burned coffee smell place” and we were like oooh THAT place. Even many storeys in the air, you can smell 2% if you open your windows. Can totally relate with Jukebox folks who are complaining about any sort of smell coming through their windows. Even the best smell would be nauseating day in and day out.

I went through a couple of the show suites on the 3rd and 4 floors facing south at last weeks open house.  They are right above J&J Wanton Noodle House on Fort and the kitchen vents were right next to the patios and balconies of the two show suites.  Both Suites smelled like I was standing over a frying pan loaded with garlic, a smell I actually like, but agree with Veblen that it would become nauseating if your subjected to it full time. 

 

Unfortunately that's one of the down sides of higher density living in the Core.

We haven’t heard anything since the filters were installed. How are things faring?

  2. Marketing company
  3. Ox King 
  4. Garyali Architect
  5. and some sort of fitness supply that looks more like storage than retail

Any knowledge of who the rental cleaning company might be?  Is it Cook Building Maintenance?

it's not just a cleaning company.  they will handle all your air bnb needs starting at 20% of the booking price.  they might even be able to help your finance your revenue suite purchase.

According to one of my friends that lives in Jukebox, the filters have helped a bit, but not much, especially for the person living right above. Apparently they're now looking at some kind of other solution, but I'm not sure what that is.
