Pieces are being offloaded. You can see the black harness between the two lifting cranes

I tweaked this a bit in Photoshop.  Original is from the JSB web site.

When you say tweaked do you mean you colored the bridge span white to hide the rust ??

I think Gary assembled the bridge span into one piece. Photoshop may be the only way we see this degree of completion for some time.

The City has a high end fire dept. drone waiting in the wings near the Delta hotel to video the arrival.

Having dinner at Fiamo at the moment. Saw the bridge up just now so the delivery may be hapening!

Okay, this barge is MASSIVE.  Just look at it compared to the LaFarge cement barge in the background.

Just checked the stats, it's the Amix NT12000 and is the same width as the Amix Arctic Tuk at 32m but is much longer at 123m vs. 105.5m.

Looking forward to some cool footage from this - they said it was better than 4K video.

The span only takes up about half the Amix NT12000's barge width.  Now imagine the Dynamic Beast crane barge being 15' wider.  You'll be able to fit the span and its two walkways on it easily.

Ah, the juxtaposition of the shiny new bridge span in the background with the grimy, rusty old bridge in the foreground...
