Based on the substantially increased unit count (83 to 166), I imagine that the variance is for height. The zone allows for up to 37 m.

Commercial space on the ground floor is fantastic for ground floor space no one would really want to live on. After walking past Yello down View this morning, I feel for those on ground floor units.

I just looked them up on bcassessment.ca and it seems all 7 of the lots changed hands on 23-Aug for a total of ~$8.6M
