Ok so I'm looking for two things:
A good place to get chicken liver pate.
And where's he best place to pickup gluten free bread. Tasty and reasonably priced.
Anyone?

A good place to get chicken liver pate.
My grandmother made the best chicken liver pate. Unfortunately I think she took the recipe to her urn, and subsequently the flower garden with her

Gluten free bread? I'm not too familiar, but every talks about Origin Bakery on Pandora in Stadacona centre.

If you are looking for retail and not restaurant, Choux Choux is the place to go I would think.

Seconded for Choux Choux.
Doesn't Wildfire do gluten-free bread?

I happened to be at the guitar shop on Fort today and next door, low and behold, is Choux Choux. I purchased 100 grams of "Porcini" liver pate.....only because I read about this here.
Man oh man......seriously.....it was good....now it's gone....come to think about it....so are my socks.

Anyone know where I can find organic grass fed beef in town?
Incidentally there seems to be only one or two places that farm grass fed beef on the island. And the one that had a living website had all their beef sold out.

Grass fed? I bet you can find some frozen at the Root Cellar, maybe call any of the butchers in town to see what they source.

But first things first. I had a chance to check out Choux Choux and I was very impressed. I picked up some delicious non-pasteurized soft cheese from France, Turkish dried olives, some sweet hot mustard, a beautiful fresh baguette and of course a inch of their duck liver pate.
One word: fantastic. Thank you Matt R, BlueFox, G-man and Sparky for pointing this place out! Although expensive, you can tell that they source only the best.
And the pate...on a fresh baguette. Mmmm. Life doesn't get much better. Eating really good food is an experience never to be taken for granted!
Going back this week for more goodies.
