Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but work is well underway to convert Cormorant St to 2 way traffic. Looks like there will be right in, right out options off of Blanshard.

Is this the section of Cormoront between Blanshard and Douglas? Perhaps it's part of the agreement for the new building.
It will mean more downtown (short-term) parking spaces are lost though - at least this time drivers can only blame themselves.

Yes...Cormorant between Douglas and Blanshard. I would expect directly tied to the new building, and to improve access in/out of that building's parkade

Yes...Cormorant between Douglas and Blanshard...
A crosswalk would be nice here!

I imagine they'll be able to fit parallel parking on each side of the street, and perhaps gain some parking space on the south side of Cormorant where the three parking lot entrances were. Net loss of street parking, though.

That's the general modus operandi of the CoV is it not?

Be glad you don't live in Richmond, where street parking exists but you're not fully allowed to use it

The 50-odd stalls will be reduced to approximately 30, give or take.

Will the parking under 750/1515 be open to everyone or just those who work in these buildings?

It looks really sharp and like a real city. The scaffolding is starting to come down on the lower seven floors. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the exterior on those floors turns out. Looks to me like the cladding may be tiles.

I'm still thinking it might end up seeming too monotonously white with not enough contrasting elements. I hope not, but I wouldn't be surprised. Like 834 Johnson above the podium. And Shutters. I recall the model for Shutters showed a grey roof and tan shutters, but the whole thing ended up being white.

Well, it's certainly going to be very white.
The windows are very big though, and it doesn't have massive bands of non-window cladding like the Atrium. The large windows on the top 6 floors combined with the grey cladding around the lower 7 floor windows may do enough to break up the white.
I think it would be cool if one of the floors was red or yellow.
