Well if it cools to 74 you should be OK, or is it not cooling at all and just happens to be 74?

Last night's full moon.  I like how the moon illuminated both the ocean and harbour.  EDIT: now linked to a sharper version on flickr.

Hey Everyone,

if anyone is interested in renting my parking stall send me a message.  Thought I would give first dibs to VV Promontorians :)

Speaking of updates, what's the hold-up with the penthouse? The plywood is still there.

At the AMG, we were told approximately the end of September.

BTW: Did you ever find a solution as to how and where to place your TV without obstructing the view or flow of the living space?

Has anyone used Bazinga?

It's been pretty useless so far.  They tout it as a way to communicate with your neighbors via messages and yet the only person you can message is Mal (the Bosa customer care guy).  The "Loop" is supposed to be a forum but it doesn't work.  Use this forum or the Facebook "Promontorians Unite" group https://www.facebook...38732036415449/

Jacqueline, the week we moved in I ended up using a storage shelf from our previous residence as a 'temporary' stand for my 55". That temporary stand is still in use as I haven't really explored further options. What are you using?

P.S. Yes I am a big fan of Schwarzenegger!

Ah, I see.  I'm in the same boat, lol!  When I moved, I placed my TV on top of the electric f/p so it would be safe, but it's not idea for viewing!  Also, the f/p takes up too much space so I need to get rid of it and replace it with a nice slim linier wall mount one in the dining room :).  Before I do that though, I need to find a solution for the TV first.  I thought of mounting it in its current location using a "full motion articulating" wall mount, but I don't know if that will provide a comfortable viewing angle, and once it's mounted I don't want to remove it.  I haven't watched much TV with the weather being so nice, but with fall approaching (boo), I would like a better set up. If anyone else has any ideas, please chime in.

BTW: Do you like the silver metallic trim on the chairs, lol

I see what you mean about blocking the view... and your TV is in the sunlight for a good portion of the day too.  Hum, the options are limited, aren't they?

That easy access to Esquimalt road only represents easy access to Bayview Place...I`de rather work a little harder to get to wherever I want to get to than make it easier for others to poke around the Bayview area. Really if I had it my way I would have a 100 ft wall surrounding the entire Songhees to keep the crazies out...sure a few crazies will be inside but they are much more manageable! :)

...

Well, it's not that 100' wall you were hoping for but nonetheless they are installing a fence along the Esquimalt Rd. "cliff".  :D

*EDIT - Thought the fence was a pathway at first.

PS. Nice looking circular putting green you have growing there.

If by path you mean those pavers visible at the top of the pic, those belong to Bayview One and are simply a maintenance path to access the landscaping on that side of Bayview.  There are no plans to have that path extend down to the street below - which is quite a drop from that spot, hence the use of "cliff".
