I'm working on getting some info from the developer as we speak. New renderings are also on their way.

Really glad to see that corner redeveloped. Will help set a nice edge of downtown between wharf/cook and Fort to Pandora (Pandora and Cook has 3 buildings going up plus St Andrew's development). Once everything starts filling in it's going to be reallllly awesome.

Amenity-rich Black and White development on track for mid-April sales launch
http://victoria.citi...l-sales-launch/
Award-winning Victoria-based developer, Abstract Developments, is nearing the reveal its most ambitious project to-date, a 75-unit, six-storey mixed-use condo and ground floor commercial building that promises to redefine modern architecture in Victoria.
"Black and White will be the most architecturally stimulating building we've ever done, and certainly one of the most iconic modern buildings in all of Victoria," says Abstract founder Mike Miller, adding that the Upper Fort location, on Fort at Cook streets, presents an opportunity to live on the cusp of downtown Victoria in a highly desirable established neighbourhood.
Designed by Victoria-based Cascadia Architects, Black and White's striking exterior façade commands attention with three alternating bands of black and white brick accentuated with wood-framed balconies and cedar soffits. Homes will be airy and bright with extensive windows and corner glazing components that maximize natural light. Generous patios and open-air balconies will integrate indoor and outdoor living spaces. I can't stand it when they put the bike racks so close to the road. I want the Costanza spot right by the door, under cover.

The Sales Centre grand opening is set for 16 April; I wonder how many of the 75 units will be sold by the end of the month?

In one of those renderings, is that grey Audi going the wrong way on Fort? Or am I disoriented?

I've heard the building will come with a BMW i3 on some sort of car share program....only thing I don't quite understand is what will happen when someone brings one back with zero charge

Hey Mike, I heard these units will include electric bikes as an amenity. Any details?
Yes, that is correct. There will be two electric assist bikes available for residents to use.

Just don't park them in front of the Empress.

I was interesting in picked up a unit, but was a bit turned off it being a wood framed building for the price they are charging.
Era units seem like a bargain compared to B&W, unless it is the location you are paying for?
