From an earlier picture it looked like all the drill rigs had gone. I stand much corrected.

I guess the original estimate of excavation/blasting, 90 days is fairly accurate, without seeing the site

From Cook Street, street level
Fort street, street level, Looking towards Meares
They are removing their road, and have added a stairway at the Meares/Cook Corner. Lots of rubble at the Zen Building side and more green blasting holders along the Zen wall.
This is looking straight down into the Zen lobby, which is open air.
From 5th floor Zen building.
Closing up for the night.
I will skip posting the picture of blue sky, which was my phone taking a picture as I dropped it, about 2 inches from a very deep hole along Cook Street. There was language.

And today's update:
They have blasted along the Zen wall. There was a new notice in the elevator saying that there was no known end date for the blasting, due to unknown conditions, that there were cracks noted in the common areas and Abstract's insurance company had sent an adjuster. Individuals noticing any damage in their properties were to document it and contact their own insurance, who would deal with Abstract.
I saw several floor to ceiling cracks along that wall, including the one in the last picture running down the wall behind the sign. It looked new - I didn't notice it last week.

I can hear the blasting horn and blasts from my house, several blocks away.

Makes you wonder what the cracks would like in a sizable earthquake.

The Atlas audio store building moved about 2 cm when they were blasting the site for legato that is a huge number more severe than a few cracks here and there

I guess cracks are basically a "known complication" from that much blasting and excavation.

Those photos certainly speak clearly. I would think owners next to new builds should learn from ..... take before videos and pic's of their homes if the are going to experience a new building come up along side their properties. That would minimize the time showing proof to insurance adjusters.
I would suspect builders do their utmost to contain and minimize collateral damage. It's the process, nothing perfect.
