Death of Pink Sugar

~"store closes early/sells out" = opportunity lost for revenue, same fixed expenses.
~"collects deposits, payments, groupons... for services not rendered" = very low morals. Look at PS Facebook page. There's a bride who lost $200.
~"starting new business" = not smart. There are ppl owed money and they will find you. LOVE WELL STYLED, her new business has a FB page. Today, she's in New Orleans.
Looking through their windows, it appears she just "walked away one day." Everything just the way it was that one Saturday afternoon.
I'm just someone in the industry.

When you say the owner is in New Orleans, has she relocated there?

There were two owners of the company, who each owned 50% of the company. The one owner was the financial backer who provided all the money to keep the company going and it required a lot of operating capital to keep the doors open. This is very common with a lot of new businesses.
At the beginning of January the financial backer pulled his bankroll and Pink Sugar was unable to pay their rent and few of their other expenses. The landlord seized the premises, changed the locks and therefore the business was forced to close down.
I know that it is very difficult to own a business in Victoria and to make money doing so. I think it is great that owner who ran the shop has picked up the pieces and moved on with her life and tried to create a new stream of income for herself as finding a good job in Victoria is not an easy task.
I also know that the reason she is away right now is because her and her husband were pregnant and lost their baby. Someone in their family gave them a trip as a gift, so they could have some time away and deal with the loss.

This seems like a dup thread will discuss with mods.
Or just rename this one for Pink Sugar in our traditional restaurant/cafe thread naming conventions (i.e. "Pink Sugar | address | Victoria | Closed in 2012") and merge the Pink Sugar related posts from that other Cupcake bakeries thread into here?

Next time you choose to compile such a message to an Internet-based company, I would recommend you try harder to mask your identity. Using an Internet pseudonym does not give you the right to verbally abuse individuals, particularly when your true identity takes all but a few moments to confirm. How dare you for defending that prick!!! And delete my posts... You and Bob Fugger are for the birds of Victoria... You are "vibrant" tasteless pieces of crap... **** you all... Your nothing... LOSERS
But since you bring up the subject, we moderated your posts because they were rude, unprofessional and belittled this discussion forum. Going by what you wrote above, is it any wonder why we moderated you? Had you maintained your composure like you did in your post in this thread there wouldn't have been any need for moderating your contributions.
You are free to continue to contribute here and you are also free to leave. We'll leave the choice up to you. But in the future should you wish to address this company or provide feedback, which we always appreciate from all of our visitors, I suggest you take the high road and leave the high school antics behind.
Know it all.

Wait, what? That doesn't sound right, are you sure?

^WOW. Nice work buddy.
