Hmmphh...undecided...I tend not to like asymetrical identical buildings of different heights and grade.

The ads this place has running on the backs of buses are creepy. They depict a man standing on a dock watching a giant vessel sailing away. Meanwhile the atmosphere is very dark and creepy. The tagline is "don't miss your boat to freedom" or something like that.

Is this still a three building project? Initially it was planned as two five storey buildings and a six storey building.

The unit count for this project is now 36, 36 and 30 units. Despite receiving backing from Saanich's planning department, the project is still (apparently) awaiting full approval. Can anyone confirm?

Personally, I am not a fan of the design of the The Shire. More so, I am not a fan of the architect's website < http://www.misraarch.com/ > what a joke. Cheap and fast on both accounts is all I see.

For a one man team it does look like he has done a lot, albeit, all very uninspiring design-wise.

This one has taken a lot of time to get going. If I'm not mistaken the same developers is behind the 468 Landmark project in Colwood which appears to either be in a holding pattern or has been cancelled outright.
