The crane is coming down today.
Can't wait for all that scaffolding to come down.

Agreed. It's really hard to tell what it's going to look like until that scaffolding is gone.

If people don't like it. Keeping it covered is an easy solution.

I can't wait for them to design a building where the scaffolding stays up.

I still have reservations about the final look of this project. It sure is boxy.

Did the crane come down today, or has it already been down for a while? I saw a large mobile crane down in that part of town earlier today.

Not just boxy, the windows also seem like they're going to be small and few-and-far-between. Compare to their rental project in North Vancouver. Is the vampire demographic a much bigger segment in Victoria's real estate/rentals market than it is in other places? I'm starting to wonder.

And many of the windows (and most of the balconies) will be enclosed within protruding boxes.
If the Capitol Theatre wasn't there, this project could have been called "Boxes on Blanshard".

I personally think this already looks 10x better than any rendering I saw. This project continues the trend of Victoria buildings looking much better than the renderings ever did, which seems to be the opposite of Vancouver projects.
