You can certainly see into these units from outside - don't think there's any privacy glass installed.

Nope. I can't wait to see some steamy scenes on that grand piano!

No privacy glass.  And "privacy glass" does not work at night anyway.  But you can get some cool window coverings, leave that to the buyer.

A floor plan would be useful for that listing on the website, kinda hard to know what's up there.

The #1 rule of real-estate: location.

It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's definitely located in the right place for that price.

That saying mostly relates to buying land not a condo. A condo is more like buying a car that can't move.

I think that takes it for this week's Bizarre Statement of the Week.

Took the open house tour of suite 214 yesterday. It's a two bedroom on the southwest corner. Great looking suite and a bargain at $799,000. Comes with a parking spot.

My question is why does a two bedroom, 859 sq ft condo need two bathrooms? Seems like a waste of space to me.

If there's a couple living in the unit, having that second bathroom is so, so nice. It's definitely a huge selling point, IMO.

I think there is also the idea that one bathroom is the owners' personal space where they can leave their stuff all over the place. The other bathroom is meant more for visitors.

Don't be so sure.

That's right.

And in almost 900 square feet, imagine the hordes of visitors one can entertain.

Janion has a big outdoor deck where part of the entertaining takes place.

Its a big help for a couple getting ready for work in the morning. A single bathroom does encourage showering together though.

Janion has a big outdoor deck where part of the entertaining takes place.

But you have to run back down to the host's condo to use the bathroom. That's convenient.

The rooftop deck and lounge also has a bathroom.

I presumed as much. So a second bathroom in one's under 900 square foot unit when entertaining isn't really that much of a selling point.
