Does anyone know if this building will still have the unique atrium feature in the internal corridors?

Lots of activity on the site, seem to be making quick work of the excavation and blasting. They switched the haul out ramp yesterday to the south side from the east side and are still drilling for blasting.
Anyone have any further updates regarding progress against schedule, how soon before we see the crane footings go in and where?

More info on this project and 1088 Johnson at: http://victoria.citi...do-development/
Construction will be starting this month. A crane will be erected by month's end and 1088 Johnson is expected to start in May of 2017.

Thank you Mike for explaining the foundation process to HB. Its the same process that Campbell used behind the Parliament building and I explained the process there as well.

I don't see any foundation in that photo all I see is form work so maybe the foundation described is under that form work. But I don't see it.
To my eye ity looks like they have a long way to go and that the forms will need to be much higher than what we see here.

What you see in the picture is the entire crane foundation ( once filled with concrete ). The crane anchors will stand on the small square concrete pads. Then another layer of steel will be placed just below the finished concrete surface. I was able to get ( see attached ) a photo of the engineered foundation drawing for this job. As you can see the entire crane pad/foundation is only 1070mm thick.
HB, I hope the drawing clarifies all your doubts.
