I’m in the same boat LJ, but obviously aliens are real.

I’ve been to a few Christmas mass things with my MIL in her part of BC and always enjoy the time, even though religion and cults give me the creeps mostly. (He says from a Guiding Centre in a very religious country.)

 

I'll be sure at the next masonic/"cult" meeting to put in a good word for you with our alien overlords. God may be unhappy with you but I have it on good authority our alien brothers have an "in" with the Big Guy so salvation may yet await you Matt....

Hey I just spent 12 nights at a world guiding centre with adults who still say grace, sing the songs, have the buttons and pins and the handshakes, ceremonies, the whole bit! Enjoyable time, but a little “sus” as the kids say.

As I am little past the 'kid' stage  and our own is now not far off 25 I actually had to look that one up, lol. "Sus"....suspect, suspicious. OK got it.

 

I'll have to remember that at the next team or project deployment meeting..."I dunno Bra, you wanna deploy that package into Production without smoke testing it first? Sounds a little Sus to me!" Sound do-able? Wonder if I have enough street cred to pull it off?

 

Alternatively "....you claim to be God but you took a cab to get to the church man: if you really were God wouldn't you, like, just.....like, 'appear' out of thin air? Sounds sus to me!" I think I'm getting the hang of it now.
