At least some of the cast is staying at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel, and they had a cast dinner there last night.

It wasn't really a fail, it's just sometimes you clip from another website and all kinds of formatting comes with it including links and photos.  It's hard to shake down.

Ha!  We've heard a bit of that opinion.  I can assure you, with Tennant being here there will be paparazzi making 100x our $25 rate per photo for getting shots.  

 

$25 ain't much of a lure, we just would like local photogrphers to send to us instead of giving them to local media for free.   Staff photographers at the TC will make $220/day for shooting, we are not in that league.  

 

Several actors have already tweeted from the hotel, it's no secret.

 

Lastly, privacy for actors is the last thing they want, they need and very much want media attention to get ahead.

Broadchurch was quite compelling, nicely filmed and well-acted. Gracepoint has some big shoes to fill to meet the quality of the original.

Say, is that a CTV cameraman filming the filming? Yesterday CTV made a big stink about Victorians acting like paparazzi and possibly scaring away future productions. A bit of fear mongering of course, but isn't it a bit ironic to see CTV front and centre at today's shoot?

There were a few people filimgalong with CTV  but were not front and centre they were across the street well out of the way with all the other looky loos
