If you're unfamiliar with Walmart's merchandise, you could always peer into the store from the mall entrance.

See? I didn't even know they had merchandise in there.

But actually for me it would be more about going inside the store just to look out the new windows. So I guess I was mostly kidding about possibly spending a dollar in there. I like how the SportChek/Marshall's wing of the mall has some high windows that you can see out of.

With Canadian Tire and Wal Mart, the mall felt more alive than I recall it being since I was a kid.

I wasn't there with you* so I can't disagree, but I made a similar comment about how busy it was back around Christmas of 2019.

*dude never wants me to go to the mall with him anymore because I always criticize him for straddling at least four parking spaces

I no longer do that, and drop my keys at the valet.

Besides. The real reason I don’t want to go to the mall with you, because you’re just a window shopper.

You're the guy who advised me to build a greenhouse (food security, you said). And yet now you give me grief for buying windows.

Well, at the Langford Walmart, you have to spend a dollar to get a shopping cart.

Don't know about the others.

Life's a journey......so roll down the window and enjoy the breeze.

I always took you for a guy who'd pirate Windows.

He just bought that 6x6 Mercedes that Silver Arrow had for sale, 1.3m usd. How many parking spots does a person like that deserve at Walmart?

I get it, I have Illyrian heritage so therefore I must also be a pirate? Sigh. Will we never make any progress re: putting away those disparaging old stereotypes?

The only tomatoes you'll be getting from my greenhouse this year will be the ones I throw at your office window (the office at your suburban business park, not your corner office at VV HQ... my best throw would obviously come far short of the 58th floor).

That's actually not a bad deal for a shopping cart.

Have you ever seen how Mike K. parks? He deserves his own parking lot. It would probably be cheaper and easier for everyone else in the long run.
