Called in today, they were opening for lunch. Picked up a menu and will probably try it sooner than later.

Stopped by today and enjoyed lunch. Quick service, tasty food with a nice interior and patio for a reasonable cost. Definitely an upgrade to the neighbourhood from Nando's. Will stop by another time to try out their dinner options which look a bit more exciting/elaborate.

I went here last night for dinner. Comfortable booths, four white wines by the glass, small but respectable beer selection (Hoyne Pilsner, Fat Tug IPA and Blue Buck on tap and a few other craft locals by the bottle along with the usual domestics).
The menu has a good amount of variety. I ordered two pakora fried fish tacos, a side grilled kale salad and a tandoori shrimp kebab, and the husband ordered the fish curry. The food was definitely "meh". The tandoori prawns were okay; they weren't overcooked, but flavour-wise they aren't anything to write home about. I was really excited to try the tacos, but I was thoroughly disappointed. They were completely lacking in flavour. It needed a citrus-y or tangy sauce to bring out the flavour, and a little heat would have been nice. The grilled kale salad was the best part of my meal. The dressing was delicious, although I'm not really a fan of dried cranberries. My husband's curry just didn't taste all that great. There was way too much cumin and lemon in the curry, and again, there was no heat at all.
The service was very friendly and quick, so I'll give them that. I like the concept of the place, but I think they need to rethink a few of their recipes.

Business must be slow there
They must need a gimmick to get people in there ...such as a huge empty box the same size as the car driving around the City Looking for customers.

I have seen that car a lot in the last week all over downtown. I wonder if really boosts business?

maybe they could put some good looking people in the box to attract customers.

This may sound petty, but I refuse to eat there, as I was a regular at Nando's and still upset that they replaced it with this place

Had lunch here today. We split the fish pakora tacos, samosas, a few of the skewers and some naan bread. All was delicious. Hot, well prepared, fresh, well seasoned and simply presented. Excellent value from my point of view and the service was good.
I would go back again for sure when looking for lunch around my wife's work, I think she'll go back too.
Matt.
