Tulowitzki has right foot in a cast following the rolled ankle incident recently. Might not be on the field again this season.

The first-place Boston Red Sox have reportedly admitted to Major League Baseball that they improperly used electronic devices to steal signs from their longtime rival New York Yankees.

The New York Times reported Tuesday the Red Sox used a high-tech watch to relay signs by the Yankees catchers during a series last month at Fenway Park.

"Electronic devices are not to be used in the dugout," he said before Boston hosted the Toronto Blue Jays. "But beyond that, the only thing I can say it's a league matter at this point."

Darwin Barney took an interesting approach to reaching third base in today's game.

Definitely interested in that series in Seattle next August.

Interesting to see that the Jays will have home-and-home series with the Braves, Mets, and Phillies. They also will be hosting the Nationals. So seven inter-league series next year.

Are those game categories a rating of the matches? E.g. an A game will be more expensive than a B game? If so, good on them for being so transparent about it.

Yes. The Jays have variable pricing. For example, weekend home games versus the Yankees or Red Sox will be more expensive than a Tuesday afternoon game against the A's.

And that just makes sense. Like an airline.

Looking like it could be the end of an illustrious Blue Jay.

Cant see ownership picking up his 17 million for next season.

Surprised that there has still been no official statement on this. In any case I'm watching this last home series, especially tomorrow's game, very likely Bautista's last home game as a Blue Jay. I hope he gets a proper send off.

Ryan Goins had a good night last night. Hit his second career grand slam, and pulled off the hidden ball trick.

I think he'll get a good sendoff. He deserves it.

They had him run onto the field alone to start the game today. That was cool.

Sad that this era is over, but surprisingly, the fan base seems ready to move on.

This Hernandez fella looks good. Amazing that we got him for Liriano, who looks done.

Very respectable finish.

After 9 years maybe something more once he retires to signify how much he has  done for the Jays.

Loved to see the reception he was getting. Too bad he couldn't go out with one last blast.

As for Hernandez, he shows promise. The Hutch trade keeps on giving!

Bautista will be in the "Level of Excellence" for sure. He's top 10 in nearly every offensive category, and top 2/3 in most of the more high profile ones (HRs, runs, walks, WAR).

He's the second best hitter in franchise hitter, behind Delgado. The number of walks he generated on super borderline pitches was incredible.

The only shame is how quickly his career went downhill. From 114 RBIs in 2015 to 69 in 2016. He'll end up in the mid 60's this year. His batting average just cratered this year, which was hard to watch. He'll be 37 in less than a month. Hard to imagine he'll get any offers in the off season.

One last thought on Jose: he brought attitude, swagger and confidence back to a franchise that was the absolute shits for nearly 15 painful years. The guy is a Toronto sports god.
