Is the SE corner not going to be excavated or is it just being retained as long as possible as a site for the construction trailers?

  Stolen~ Knapsack and contents (Downtown)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap
Johnson at Vancouver

(google map)

Some low-life, loser, scumbag came into the construction zone I was working in on Tuesday at Johnson and Vancouver and made off with my knapsack. Although my wallet (black Roots) was in it there wasn't any cash or credit cards. I'm hoping at the very least to get my wallet back as some of my I.D. is in it. The knapsack is blue. Some of the contents include HiVis rain jacket, blue fleece vest, black touqe and balakava, neon yellow gloves, a couple LED flashlights, and a bunch of miscellaneous stuff. Any help getting my wallet and knapsack back will not go unnoticed. Have a nice day and don't steal.

But by all means, let's fill our downtown core with low barrier shelters for "desperate" people.

Sorry this happened HB.

Well that was pretty clear, most people just read the narrative.

No, FirstTimeHomeCrier, I do not work for their marketing team. I am sincere about my post. I didn't find anything negative about 989 and I am excited to see the progress.

I apologize. I've just never heard anyone be so excited about shower curtains before.

The only good thing about shower curtains is they are very easy to get rid of when to have proper glass doors installed.

VicHockeyFan, only my opinion, but I've done a lot of cleaning in my lifetime and hate the fact that you literally have to be standing inside the bathtub to clean the interior shower doors properly. It's easier to throw a shower curtain into the washing machine. Again, just my opinion:)

Also comes in really handy if you have kids or a dog to bathe...maybe even a sponge bath for an elderly neighbor?

Always having half of your tub closed off by a glass panel no matter what instead of being able to open the tub all the way up with a shower curtain doesn't suit everyone. We just did a bathroom reno and mulled the glass or curtain option...we went with curtain for the accessibility reasons above.

Yes shoeflack, I agree! I like the openness in general and ease of maintenance.

I clean them from the inside when I'm having a shower/bath.  Put the Windex in a cute spray bottle.

There are post-shower cleaners you just spray after every shower. I use one, they're great.
