Hi all,

I am just looking for 2nd job, weekend work, ect. Does anyone have any ideas?

A little late but if someone is looking for a good temporary government job, Canadian Border Services need to beat the crap out of some people.

Any servers, cooks, or dishwashers looking for work? Retirement homes are in full swing and looking for people.

Both my building [Victorian on McKenzie] and our sister property are hiring. Even if it’s until we all get through this and we can go back to our reopened restaurants

As I have said before, problem is that the Feds will pay you $2,000 a month tax free to stay at home. If you earn any income at all then you get nothing. BC also has a one time grant of $1,000 and will pay $500 a month for your rent.

No incentive at all to work part time and likely why so many people are staying home.

^Surely there are a lot of Ayn Rand types out there that would rather earn their pay rather than get a government handout? Or are all her books being tossed in dumpsters right now?

Who is John Horgan?

Know it all.
Citified.ca is Victoria's most comprehensive research resource for new-build homes and commercial spaces.

One would hope but I can tell you this is the reason why none of the programs the Feds announced last week are even close to being launched yet. The number of loopholes and disincentives to work are staggering. They are still trying to figure out how to get money to the right people without signing a blank cheque for 20M people to cash in on.
