I am enjoying "FROM" on Paramount+ (a one week free trial through my Amazon Prime subscription). Imagine Stephen King's version of "Lost".

I tried getting into that one when season two came out, just couldn’t get past the first few. Does it improve? Normally, I’d say it’s right up my alley. :)

It's not Shakespeare, but as the mystery deepens it has been able to hold my attention.

Yeah, just started season two. It’s good but I’m starting to predict the next steps.

Know it all.

Yellowstone is surprisingly good.

My elderly mom and a female friend watch this show. I gave it a try, but didn't get far.

On first viewing I asked my friend "Does anyone smile in this show"?

I think I'm not the intended audience.

I'm going to make an attempt to watch Takeshi's Castle.

I'm a big fan of Spike TV's Most Extreme Elimination Challenge (MXC). It was this series that prompted me to seek out and watch the original series of Takeshi's Castle.

The new series was produced for Amazon Japan and is now on Amazon Canada.

So far I'm apprehensive. They're using green screen for the interior castle set rather than an actual set. Green screen is used far too much in Japanese shows these days to save money. It annoys the hell out of me.

Also, no sign of Takeshi Kitano in the trailer.

Discovered that there is a new four episode of C.B. Strike that came out late 2022! Great BBC crime drama, based on the books written by JK Rowling under a pseudonym.

^I didn't think it had a leg to stand on when it first came out.
