I wonder if this could work on a (much) smaller scale even in good old mid-rise Victoria?

^ Interesting. I wonder if they would diffuse the light a bit through coating on the windows. Otherwise the light being cast on the courtyard could be reflective, sharp and annoying.

Now if only we could figure out a (energy efficient) way to use cameras and screens to project an image of the Sooke hills onto tall buildings downtown.
