Is there really much of a market for grilled orca?

Apparently not, the orca burger is made with beef.

A 'grillhouse' with only two steaks on the menu, neither of them premium cuts. Odd.

I'm assuming that picture of fish 'n chips at the top of the menu is their one-piece
dinner. Sixteen bucks? That chunk of hali looks to be about the size of a Captain High Liner fish-stick.

Pretty cheesy to call it Orca grill on wale road.

This restaurant is an incredible metaphor on the whole Langford vs Victoria debate. Would never fly in downtown.

If it was downtown it would be called "Metaphor". And they'd have a specialty item called "Incredible Metaphor". Maybe a burger or a cocktail. Possibly a salad.
Posted 22 October 2015 - 12:26 PM
Correction: the specialty drink would be called "Mixed Metaphor".

Pretty sure downtown this place would be called the Whale & Crown
Posted 22 October 2015 - 02:25 PM
Could you get a decent baleeni at a pub like that? I'm sure it would cost you a few fins and even then it would still be a fluke. They'd probably have a good selection of Crown Rorqual.

Technically, orcas aren't whales, so it could be called Orca & Whale downtown.

Didn't we already do the porpoise puns in another thread?
Posted 22 October 2015 - 02:59 PM
How so? I'd like to hear how downtown doesn't have restaurants that (a) serve burgers or (b) are named after sea life
Edit: I would like to hear more about how there is a supposed "debate" between Langford and Victoria. News to me.
