Remember the original Fat Fuge's Phege's Fulge Fudge Factory? If you were lucky with your timing, you could watch the fudge roll out of the cooker on to the marble slab and Fuge Phege would fold the heck out of it with a couple of scrapers. Good times.

It wouldn't be the first time Google has been caught fudging things. Food for thought, I suppose. But it doesn't seem very auspicious re: the future of this thread.

Joe Perkins says the Drake will open a back patio into the Square.

 

It's been in the works for about a year, hopefully open by the time warm weather comes. They will have a few taps to complement the many they already have inside. I think there's a liquor rule that you can't carry your indoor beer out to the patio yourself, a server has to do it. I like buying a taster glass of unusual beers there. Like Beerfest all year long.
