100 affordable seniors apartments eyed for Gordon Head

The Mount Douglas Seniors Housing Society is proposing a 100-unit affordable seniors residence at 1550 Arrow Road in Saanich’s Gordon Head neighbourhood.

 

The three-storey woodframe building is eyed for vacant land adjacent to the Society’s existing 80-unit seniors residence west of University Heights Shopping Centre. The project will offer a mix of studio and one-bedroom rental apartments, with layouts between 393 and 509 square feet, marketing at seniors earning incomes below $30,000 per annum. [Full article]
