Esquimalt's Tudor House liquor store set to rise this summer

http://victoria.citi...se-this-summer/

Construction is set to get underway on a 9,000 square foot liquor store at the former site of Esquimalt's Tudor House Pub overlooking the busy intersection of Admirals and Esquimalt roads.

Nearly three years since the historic pub burned down, excavation crews have arrived on-site and are preparing the land for builders. Formal construction is expected to begin by late June or early July.

The design of the Tudor House liquor store, however, is anything but faux heritage or a throwback to Tudor architecture. [Full article]

Seems like a waste of such a high profile corner but I guess one day when Esquimalt amalgamates into Victoria this will be a small community centre  such as Fernwood or Quadra Vill.and every community centre needs a liquor store
