Such a crying shame too; the man is/was a comedy genius: http://www.cnn.com/2...asia/index.html

Monty Python was an integral part of the comedy scene in North American starting with the airing of the original BBC series (1969-74), locally on PBS Seattle in 1975.

I recall the halls of our junior high school (Cedar Hill JS) resounding with poorly-imitated renditions of classic M-P sketches such as "Mr Hilter and Mr Bimmler", not to mention unique takes on the classic "ministry of sill walks" - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqhlQfXUk7w

The "127th Annual Upper Class Twit of the Year" competition and one of their all time best, the "Dead Parrot":

"Hell's Grannies" was another classic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SmzMzmnB-iQ

I have seen every episode of the original Monty Python series at least a dozen times and I swear I laugh just as hard now as I did the first time. Comedy geniuses.
