Building Permit was issued on Tuesday for interior and exterior renovations. No idea who the tenant is at this point.

for reference

The property was sold to a Golden Bee Holdings Ltd. last year, which is a newly registered company in Canada.

I'm no detective, but the Golden Bee is a significant piece of Idar Jewellers brand. They even have a few laid into the sidewalk out front.

I'm assuming that Idar bought 950 Fort to expand to, or to lease out.

I speculated above that Idar would be moving/expanding to 950 Fort, and that is now confirmed via an issued sign permit. Not sure if they are hanging onto their current location next door or not. Renovations to 950 Fort are nearly complete.

Idar has completed renovations here and is now moved in. Looks like they aren't keeping their former location. Even removed the bees from the sidewalk out front. Very nicely done reno.

Has there been any sign of life on the Lund's parking lot for this project?

you know it's a serious move when they even take the local insects with them.

Nothing outside of the standard monitoring wells. Robbins is usually good about posting notices ahead of lot closures but nothing has been posted yet.
