Yes, they do.  And when I was there yesterday, they were sold out of it, plus out of one IPA.

That's 1500 sales from their $4.95 food menu just to break even.

It would be 1500 items, assuming they had zero costs to produce or serve those menu items, but even at a 70% COGS it's a lot more than 1500 items absorb a $7500 fine. Ouch!

Matt.

ETA: this fine comes right off the bottom line, unless they budget for liquor infraction fines, in which case all is well. I've never seen a food service budget that does this, but maybe it's SOP in a bar situation.

True enough. In any case, it will take some time to recover the cost of this penalty, and up-selling drinks to their customers is probably not a wise plan at this juncture.

They were already fined $5,000 earlier this year for overcrowding.

Brunch has gone up to $5.95, a 20% increase.

The drink menu has changed by 90 degrees.

Oh, dunno.

If it's all food items, they need to update their website.

I was there today - confirmed - all food items $5.95.  7 beers on tap, two of which are Bud Light and Lucky.

Barely qualifies as a pub. :)

Barely qualifies as a pub. :)

You mean five beers on tap plus Bud Light and Lucky?

Went in tonight around 6pm as RFBF line was like 2 hours long.

First time at the Victoria location. (haven't been to Granville in years)

Was very surprised on how good the food was for the $5.95

I must be getting older because my god the music was so loud, could barely hear anything.
