I see it's being referred to as "supportive housing."
Know it all.

It appears to be designed like a sort of "group home". Is that term still acceptable? I wonder what agency intends to use this project if approved and completed.
FYI: I believe a former NPNA board members owns - or used to own - the house that currently sits on part of the land for this project. The section behind the trees on the photo above.

The developers behind the Mt St Angela proposal are proposing to build a 4-storey supportive housing development at 1046/1048 North Park Street. The project contains 34 units, and patients at the existing Mt St Angela facility on Burdett will be transferred here to facilitate the redevelopment of the Burdett site as seniors housing.

The outdoor toilet should never have passed scrutiny, for sure.

Also to be fair: the grey/brown “21st century moderne” look seems to be showing up everywhere...
Have you actually visited 1032 North Park? It is gawd-awful ugly and cheap looking. The photo above doesn't begin to illustrate its wretchedness.

This proposal has been revised.
New rendering:
From the developer:
"This application proposes to re-develop the property to a purpose built 34 unit building for housing people with varying degrees of mental illness. As part of the redevelopment of the Mount St Angela project for Seniors Living, the owner has acquired the North Park St properties and is committed to transitioning the patients currently residing at Mt St. Angela to the new build.... The proposed project will house approximately 34 below market rooms which are completely furnished, self contained micro units with bed/sitting area, storage, and share a full bathroom."
