I recently came across http://abandonedadve...es.blogspot.ca/ and saw that the website is not available anymore!
Does anyone have any leads on abandoned places to go check out! Post them below!

Ever Been to the Power House in Jordan River its a fun place and a place where you need to be careful or you can get killed from falling through the floor into a dark water filled place.

That would be a great residence and that space could be the grand ballroom.
I can just imagine the orchestra playing the last waltz as dancers disappear through holes in the floor.

Apparently the heritage house at 902 Foul Bay Road (Google Maps) was lived in by some crazy lady with a huge number of cats and then Large & Co bought it? Looking through the records, it seems after it was purchased a demolition permit was requested (then denied) and the building mysteriously "burnt down."

Yes, that was discussed on VV at the time.
I'd be surprised if there are many truly abandoned residences.

Neighbour of once-elegant Beach Drive house calls on Oak Bay to adopt derelict-property bylaw
https://www.timescol...y-bylaw-6841115
The roof of the old house is covered with tarps, and its doors and windows are boarded up. Two Mercedes Benz and a Rolls Royce parked in the buckling driveway are a real draw for teenagers.
I don't know. Maybe try this: contact the owners and see what they say? Seems missing from the article.
Maybe if it's a serious issue the municipality can put a fence up on public property.

The rock gates are on public property, just string a fence across them.
